Reverse side of this card is a Maximum. This VELVETONE Maximum is made from a photograph of a working model of the stamp, but has been enlarged to Post Card size. The 4c American Flag stamp receives First Day of Issue release at Washington, D. C., on July 4, 1957. Stamp is 0.84 by 1.44 inches in dimension, arranged horizontally in a dark frame and issued in sheets of 50. Color of the stamp is red, white and blue; the red and blue printed by the intaglio process on white paper. Even if bearing a stamp on other side, this card MUST NOT be mailed unless bearing two cents postage on this side
