Rocky River enters Lake Erie at Lakewood, a thriving
suburb of Cleveland, whose growth during the last few
years has been phenomenal. It affords a splendid harbor
for yachts, launches and all kinds of private pleasure
crafts, and there are hundreds moored along the river
bank. The water is very clear and fairly deep for some
distance back from the lake,
