Berry Field, Nashville's Municipal Airport,
was named Berry Field in honor of Colonel
Harry S. Berry, State W.P.A. Administrator.
The total cost of construction will be about
$2,500,000 — and is conceded to be one of the
most outstanding airports of the United States.
The Airport covers about 700 acres and has
many miles of hard surfaced runways, it is
located on the Murfreesboro Road, six and
one-half miles from Nashville.
