helium-cooled Peach Bottom Atomic Power Sta-
tion Unit No. 1, in commercial operation since
1967. It has a capacity of 40,000 kilowatts, and
is owned and operated by Philadelphia Electric
Company.
In the background, Peach Bottom Units Nos.
2 and 3 are under construction. Each of the two
boiling water reactors will have a capacity of
1,065,000 kilowatts, Unit No. 2 is scheduled for
completion in 1972, Unit No. 3 in 1973.
