FORT FRANCIS E. WARREN This military reservation was established during the days of Indian wars and the building of the Union Pacific Railroad. It was for years known as Fort D. A. Russell, but shortly after the death of Wyoming's grand old Senator was renamed in his honor Fort Francis E. Warren. It is located just northwest of the city limits of Cheyenne, Wyo. |
