Bill Hielscher came to the Salt Flats in 1969 and
set records with both cars shown on the post card.
The Camaro (on the left) became the fastest pro-
duction car using carburetors to race at the flats
turning 188.67 mph.
The Corvette (on the right) set a new land speed
170.697 mph time.
