OLD KENYON
Erected in 1827, this truly great structure
was the first building on Kenyon's picturesque
Hill. It was designed by Charles Bulfinch,
whose accomplishments include the designing
of the White House and the United States
Capitol in Washington. With walls four feet
in thickness, Old Kenyon is outstanding in
the architecture of American colleges. Kenyon
College, founded in 1824, is the oldest men's
college in the Middle West.
