TERMINAL BUILDING, CORK AIRPORT, IRELAND:
Cork Airport was opened in October 1961 and established
direct connections with the South of Ireland and Dublin,
Western England, London and the Continent. It stands on
500 acres with two runways, the larger measuring 1829
metres capable of handling jets and the other measuring
1310 metres. The 80 ft. high control tower dominates the
airport. In it is housed every modern electronic aid for
IRELAND aviation.
