A large anchor marks the last resting place of 163 men of the crew of the U.S.S. Maine, which was blown up February 15, 1898, in the harbor of Havana, Cuba, from where their bodies were brought and reinterred in the Spanish-American War section of Arlington National Cemetery on December 28, 1899
