The oldest plant of Aluminum Company of America at New Kensington, Pennsylvania, 20 miles up the Allegheny river from Pittsburgh. "Wear-Ever" cooking utensils are made here, as well as aluminum sheet, foil, tubing, extruded shapes, bottle caps, beer barrels, and chemical equipment. The 1,500 ft. wall at the river's edge was put there after the 1936 flood had done considerable damage to the plant
