Old Santa Fe, New Mexico, the quaintest city in America, with its population of 7,000 Mexicans and 1,000 Americans, is a centre of Roman Catholic interests, and among the most impressive buildings erected by the Church are the Academy of Our Lady of Light, the Chapel and the Bishop's Residence-the trio being situated in a row and close together.
