Ford's Theatre wherein occurred the assassination of President Lincoln, April 14th 1865, by the hand of John Wilkes Booth, is on 10th St., between E & F Sts., N.W. The walls of this building collapsed in June, 1893, when over twenty people were killed. It is now used by the War Dept. as a branch of the Adjt. General's Office
