Additional Details:
Near Fisherman's Cut - a dredger cut dividing Bradford and Webb Tract. The free-floating ferry was built in Stockton, California, by Colberg Boat Works, and named after her predecessor, Victory I. Aside from the fact Victory II is a private ferry, the owner is contracted with a monthly fee by Contra Costa County - which regards it as a continuation of the county road system. The pilot-house enables the Jersey Island Ferry to transport more vehicles. Maximum carrying load is twelve cars. Approximately 450 loads, or 25-27 tons of corn, are brought cross False River by the 65 foot ferry, from Bradford and Webb Tract Islands, seasonally
