DURING THE SVENSK HYLLNINGSFEST
("SWEDISH-HONORING FESTIVAL")
The Hyllningsfest is a celebration of the early Swedish
pioneers who settled in Lindsborg in the late 1860's.
Demonstration of folk crafts, traditional foods, a parade,
smorgasbord, traditional dancing, and musical entertain-
ment are some of the activities celebrated during this
festival. The festival is held in October of odd numbered
years.
