miles in area, it is a regular subterranean labyrinth.
Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher were lost among its
fascinating rock formations; Tom and Huck found a
treasure; Injun Joe was trapped here and died. The Cave
was one of young Mark Twain's favorite haunts. Two
miles south of Hannibal on the River Road. Guides fur-
nished. Small admission charge.
