A few of Wiederkehr's famous wines are pictured
near Wiederkehr's Alpine Lake, across the water
from Swiss Family Vineyards. Tourists can view,
from Alpine Tower, the beautiful vineyards and
woods stretching in each direction from Alpine Lake,
and beyond, the beautiful 50-mile panorama of the
Arkansas River Valley and distant mountains. From
these mountain vineyards come the famous Euro-
pean Hybrid Grapes that have caused Wiederkehr
Wine Cellars, Inc., to become known as "the" wine
center of the Southwest.
