The flag was made in New Jersey for Block and Kuhl
Company. The fabric is nyalom, a combination of
wool and nylon, measures 90 by 60 feet and weighs
over 400 pounds. It is so large the finishing touches
had to be given on a lawn in front of the maker's
factory. The stripes measure 4 feet 4 inches wide
and the stars over 3 feet in diameter. Block and Kuhl
have been advised that this is the largest American
Flag in true proportion in the world.
