  as an english teacher i would like to use some of the postcards you sell to give a little "spark" to my students' writing. however, i am concerned about what is in public domain and what is not. i am planning to make a book of their writings and am concerned about copyright violations. do i need to spend the jack to talk to an attorney? or what venue would you suggest. mike. the post card of the insane asylum in austin is great.
