WHITE CLOUD, Mich. located on M20 and M37 is the county seat of Newaygo. This scene is looking east on Wilcox Ave. the principal business street of the town. The village is named after an early Indian Chief "White Cloud." It was settled as early as the 1860's by white men, and was first known as Morganville. It now has a population of over 1000. It has a fine school system, 7 churches, several manufacturing establishments and business places of all kinds
