The GOVERNMENT Printing Ofice
located at N. Cap. and H Sts., is the
largest and finest printing office in the
world. It cost more than $2,000,000 and
the entire plant is valued at more than
$16,000,000 With every
known labor
saving machine in use it carries a pay
roll of $4,000,000 per annum. A thou-
sand different important books, pamph-
lets, circular bills, daily, weekly and
montlhy publications, and small jobs are
printed here for the Government. Over
7,000,000 Postal cards have been turned
out in one day.
