WATER CARRIERS AT THE FOUNTAIN
SAN LUIS POTOSI, MEXICO
San Luis Potosi is the capital of the state of the
same name and is situated at a heighth of 6200 feet.
Has a population of about 40,000 and while its gen-
eral design is somewhat like that of an Oriental
appearance, it has quite a number of modern buildings.
Like all the smaller Mexican towns it has no water
facilities and the inhabitants have to depend on
public carriers who procure their supply from the
Public Fountain.
