HOLY HILL
SHRINE OF MARY — HELP OF CHRISTIANS
U.S.'s most favorite place of Pilgrimage. Known
to be the highest located church in Wisconsin,
1500 feet above sea level. 30 miles from Milwau-
kee; 7 miles from HARTFORD, WISCONSIN, on
Hwy 167. It received the name "HOLY HILL"
when the first cross was erected on its summit
in the year 1858. From that humble beginning
came the gradual, laborious, yet blessed develop-
ment from a rustic log cabin chapel to the present
magnificent structure.
