Exchange Avenue derives its name from this
famous cattle market from which this part of Fort
Worth is affectionately called "Cowtown." The
Coliseum has seen many rodeos and athletic con-
tests.
Over the “Old Chisholm Trail” and Exchange
Avenue have passed millions of Texas Longhorns
and blooded animals to the mammoth packing
plants at the far end of the Avenue.
