Additional Details:
The Gettysburg address delivered November 19, 1863 by President Lincoln at the consecration of Soldiers' National Cemetary was written near the window marked with a star. Hon. David Willis (to whom National Cemeteries owe their origin) stand upon the stops: the RG Harper house joins the Wills House to the south; Mr. Harper's printing office is next. Here was printed "adams Sentinel" the first weekly paper issued in Adams County
