| This Motel is situated upon a tract of land bordering the Mason-Dixon line. This line was surveyed between 1763 and 1767 by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon, to settle a boundary dispute between Lord Baltimore and Wm. Penn. You may see at the line a mile stone marker. This stone resembling cement was brought from the Island of Portiand, an Engilsh possession. |
