Norman Rockwell's first job after leaving art school, was for The Boy Scouts of America, as an illustrator for Boy's Life magazine. Beginning in 1925, and continuing for 52 years, the magazine's covers were used to create the annual Brown & Bigelow Boy Scout calendar. This picture was used in the calendar in 1975
