The men of Hopi Land work in the fields, weave
dresses, blankets and beautiful ceremonial garments.
The women of the several villages make baskets in
a great variety of designs, while those in the Village
of Tewa, home of Nampeyo, produce some of the
finest pottery made by American Indians. The
men are the greatest long distance runners in the
world.
