THE NEWPORT WATERFRONT
The downtown Newport waterfront, which was largely run-down
and neglected in the 1950's, has returned as a hub of tourist
and commercial activity with developments such as (left to right),
Brick Market Place, Treadway Inn, Bowen's and Bannister's
Wharfs, The Moorings and Newport Yachting Center.
