| This gate was erected in 1905 by the Government, as an entrance to Point Park, where the Battle Above the Clouds was fought in November, 1863. Here in the Park is located New York's beautiful $100,000 Peace Monument. At the point of the mountain is Umbrella Rock and the famous view of Moccasin Bend. |
