Boise, Idaho's First Methodist Church, foremost
example of dynamic Gothic architecture, is the
first church built for Television; its Minister, Dr.
Herbert E. Richards, conducts the largest number
of TV and Radio programs of any individual
church in America.
The stained glass – some with gold "flown layer
on layer" – weds traditional Biblical iconography
with modern subject matter.
The social and educational church facilities in-
clude barbecue pits, roller skating, nurseries,
kindergartens, equipment for the aging, and an
Arlington Carillon.
