One of the many new recreational facilities now being created by the Huron Clinton Metropolitan Authority. Located 5 miles east of Mt. Clemens and 22 miles N.E. from downtown Detroit. Connecting highways from Beach parkway are Gratiot, Jefferson and Harper. The park covers 550 acres, of which 55 acres is fine beach sand stretching more than one mile along Lake St. Clair. Up to 30,000 people may be accommodated at one time |
