Montreat, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Moun-
tains of North Carolina, eighteen miles east of Ashe-
ville and two miles from Black Mountain , is the South-
ern Presbyterian Mecca, where Presbyterians and
many others come from every part of the South and
from many sections of the North for spiritual inspira-
tion and Christian fellowship. This is one of the most
beautiful picturesque and healthful sections of America.
