Mormon Temple

| Located on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, the spired "Mormon" Temple dominates the historic grounds. Work on this graceful structure was begun in 1853 and after 40 years of sacrifice it was completed in 1893. By means of a system of floodlights the outside of the Temple is illuminated during the evening hours. |
