The museum building is fronted by a group of units containing classrooms, workshops, libraries, executive offices and an auditorium. The buildings are architectural reproductions of Independence Hall, Congress Hall and the old City Hall of Philadelphia. Joined to these units by arcades and corridors is the main exhibition hall which covers approximately 8 acres, entirely under one roof. The exhibits in this hall are in three main divisions representating the three major industrial arts: agriculture, manufacturing and transportation.
