La Guardia Airport is one of the world's busiest
Z air terminals, where a plane lands or takes off
every 2 minutes. The Port of New York Auth-
ority, operator of the airport, has begun a $35
million redevelopment program that includes a
new terminal building to serve the approximately
7 million passengers annually who will use the
airport by 1965.
