Front:
THE DEFINITION OF A KISS
KISS is a sound that enraptures the heart,
When love prompts the feeling and the ruby lips part.
There's KISSES of sorrow, there's KISSES of pain,
There's KISSES of joy, and there's KISSES of gain;
But the KISS OF ALL KISSES that make the lips smart,
Is the KISS that rekindles the fire of the heart.
While dealing in KISSES it wouldn't be right,
To neglect sending one to my sweetheart to-night,
I could send a candy KISS by postal card,
But 'twould not be real, and you might feel hard,
Though I tied it around with a ribbon of blue,
And vowed by the stars, that I loved only you.
So I thought 'twould be best, just to drop you a line,
And leave all the KISSES for some other time.
