What a beautiful area. Our site is between the boulder Mt and the
visible sites. The weather is quite lovely during the day and will
drop to the low 30s during the night. A javelina family of 5
yesterday visited us. Prescott now has an indoor mall with the
anchor stores being Dillard's, Sears & JC Penney's. While it is
not real large it is a nice size and the location/setting gives a
breath-taking view! We climbed the boulders on the trail here at
the campsite Saturday and will bike into town Tuesday. We have
mapped out the museums, etc located in the downtown area to
visit. Prescott has changed so much. We can remember when
Hwy 69 from I-17 into Prescott was sparsely occupied with
cabins. It now holds $300K homes along side the cabins. YIKES.
They also have quite a population of old hippies. We will try to do
better keeping in touch. Enough of this...
