| The Channel, between Presque Isle and mainland at Erie, Pa., provides easy access to Presque Isle Bay for coal and ore boats. U. S. Coast Guard and Lighthouse Reservation is located on the Presque Isle side. Most of the peninsula has been developed as a State Park providing facilities for swimming, boating, hiking and picnicking. |
