This area, on the edge of Eagle Cap Wilderness, has abundant wildlife and is a scenic midway point between Hells Canyon point of entry, the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and Hells Canyon Overlook. Snow depths of up to four feet transform the area into a wonderland for snowmobiling and an annual winter carnival. |
