Vesuvius Bay Hotel, Saltspring Island

| Built around 1888 by a Mr. Bittancourt it served also as a store and post office. It was the first port of call located on Saltspring Island, being ideally located for the steamers traveling from Victoria through Sansum Narrows to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. More recently it has served as a restaurant. |
