| The Olympic Swimming Pool at Ocean Beach Park is so called because it is 50 meters long and 20 meters wide, built to accommodate Olympic try-outs. Its capacity is 450,000 gallons of salt water, recirculated through a purification plant which filters and treats the water with chlorine.
