| Every summer from early June through the middle of July, early travelers to Yellowstone National Park over the spectacular Beartooth Hi-way 212 have a treat in store for them when they reach the Twin Lakes Glacial Headwall and see 100 to 125 skiers racing down the mile long runs, with a vertical drop of 1,600 feet. Portable lifts, four of them, return them to the top of the mountain in jig time. World famous coaches instruct the skiers. |
