| The Peanut Festival Parade is the culmination of a two week long celebration of the harvest of the major crop and industry of the Alabama, Georgia, Florida Tri-State Area. Crowds estimated between 150,000 and 200,000 people attend the three hour long parade held the last Saturday morning of the Festival, which began in 1938. |
