| Ward-Belmont, with an enrollment of between 600 and 700 young women, is perhaps the largest college for women in the South. Over forty States are represented in the student body. In 1913 Belmont College (1890), and Ward Seminary (1865), were consolidated, forming the present institution. The magnificent buildings and grounds in the southern environs of Nashville are one of the show places of the city. |
