| The rambling, two-story Edison home is almost hidden in a mass of tropical foliage, with areca and cocos plumosa palms in the foreground. The house was prefabricated in Maine in 1886 and shipped to Fort Myers by schooner. It is being maintained exactly as the Edisons left it. |
