The Big Cypress Tree is located on U. S. #17 and 92, midway between Orlando and Sanford, Fla. It is said to be the largest tree east of the Rockies. It is 47 feet in circumference at its base, and is 127 feet in height. It is the oldest Cypress Tree in the U. S. A.; estimated to be 3,500 years or older.
