| Located between Winston-Salem and Mt. Airy, N. C. Just off Hwy. 52, this spectacular peak rises abruptly to a height of 2421 feet above sea level. This old landmark used by Indians and white settlers, was later used by the Confederate Forces as a lookout. A hard surfaced road leads to the new parking area near the summit. |
