| Far into the remote, rugged and intriguing land of the Maze District, adventurous visitors will find the Land of Standing Rocks awaiting them. These delicate spires and formations of Organ Rock Shale were named by John Wesely Powell, who floated the nearby Green and Colorado Rivers in 1869. The Maze is only accessible by hiking or with a 4WD vehicle. |
