| Historic Salem Tavern, built in 1784, where George Washington spent two nights in 1791. It is now an exhibit building of Old Salem, restored and furnished to the period of 1800. Also open daily are the Wachovia Museum in the Boys' School (1794) and the John Vogler House (1819). |
