The Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts, built in 1702 by David How, was known as the How Tavern. It was purchased by Henry Ford in 1923 and restored. Distinguished guests included President Coolidge, Longfellow, Edison, and Firestone. Dorothy Quincy stayed here on her way to marry John Hancock.
